Friendly and cozy like diner with a country atmosphere. Lots of booth seating and tables ready for large parties. I had the Philly steak and cheese with grilled peppers, onions and mushrooms topped with mozzarella cheese on a fresh, toasted roll and a side of fried onion rings. It was really good. They offer an array of country veggies for sides and serve certain sides on particular days. Our server was prompt and friendly. Clean bathrooms.

A true gem off the beaten path! Our kids loved it and my son mentioned it was his favorite chicken sandwich ever. The food was great, the prices were awesome and the owner was so friendly! We'll be back for a visit next time we head south!

Wonderful family diner! Top notch service! I had a rueben with onion rings and “best sweet tea in the south”! Must stop in your way east to the beach!

Cash only! Lucky I had cash on me, I usually don't carry cash. A little run down but not badly. Been in business for over 70 years. Food wasn't bad and I didn't have to wait. Relatively inexpensive, I had meatloaf (2 large slices), green beans, and mustard greens. It came with a basket containing a biscuit, a corn muffin, and I think sesame bread sticks. I didn't eat the breads because I'm watching my carb intake. Overhearing conversations let me know this was a popular local diner. Waitress seemed to know everyone.

Clean Restaurant. Food really good. They gave you plenty to eat also. Table servers/waitress was very friendly and professional. I would reccomend this Restaurant to anyone! Thanks Cindy

Came for the Southern fried apple pies and stayed for home cooking and friendly, efficient service. Please give it try. I drive out from Pinehurst regularly.

A great family oriented place to eat just off from the interstate and as always we are welcomed by the owner who is also the mayor of nearby Biscoe. Cash only and doesn't accept credit cards.

Fantastic home style cooking and friendly people to top it off. Our family of 7 for $70 and a tip are stuffed and loved the meals. We will add this to our places to visit when traveling.

Great specials daily. What ever day you choose to go you can't go wrong. My personal favorite is the Turkey and Gravy on Sundays.

This place is a total ripoff.We got a "house salad". It was lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes. For $5. Nothing was made there. Frozen hamburgers that were burned on the outside and pink on the inside, canned corned beef, bargain basement chips. We paid nearly $10/person to eat picnic food. Our orders were written down correctly but nearly every plate had something wrong. I don't normally write bad reviews but this was one of the worst meals I have ever had in a restaurant in my life. No one even checked on us after the food arrived. This place may have been in business 72 years but I seriously doubt they will make it much longer.

Service good. Had to ask for item that was a part of order. Had to send entree back to be warmed in microwave. Bread cold. Got all fixed except cold bread.

Awesome place I was surprised just how packed it was. Burgers are awesome. They typically bring out hot fresh desserts. Wait staff is exceptionally friendly.

Tasty food great prices and fast service!

Stopped once before and had an incredible breakfast and superb service. The next time was the polar opposite, food quality was poor the waitress seemed lost and took forever to take care of our table.

My fried chicken was under cooked. Red all around the bones of the leg and thigh. The green beans tasted sweet and something I can't place but definitely not what you would expect. The peaches were good but canned. Service was okay. Definitely not as good as I saw in the rating before we stopped.

We always stop at Blake's on their way to and from Myrtle Beach. Great food, great service and the best damn coleslaw.

Our group was early and yet the staff handled it so well. Our food was hot. Our food was delicious and ample. The flounder,scallops,and shrimp was the best. The coleslaw was the best. If only we could have had space for dessert oh my it would no doubt be off the chart. Thank you God bless you this Christmas season.

Just traveling though and stopped for dinner. I had a Reuben and my companion had a Philly Steak. Food was excellent with large portions. This is the 1st restaurant review I have ever written and I have eaten at many restaurants. Desserts are homemade. Jimmy made us feel like family. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

CASH ONLY!! The service was fast.. and pretty friendly. I got the salmon patty special— just like Mama makes then, but mine had a vertebrae bone in it (I know it’s edible, but I prefer not to eat them). The green beans were tasty too!

For a vegetarian, not much choice. I ate good onion rings & hot chips. The water tasted like chlorine. (Minus 1 star.)
